Rigel signs with Miami RedHawks

Northwest Ohio Throws Academy athlete Grace Rigel has signed a National Letter of Intent to further her education and continue her track and field career at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

In 2017, Rigel qualified for the Ohio State Track & Field Championships both indoors (shot put, weight throw) and outdoors (shot put). She finished 4th at the Outdoor Championships in the shot put with a throw of 45 feet, 1 inch.

Rigel is a senior at Leipsic High School. She will begin her career with the Miami Redhawks in the fall of 2018.
