Arbaugh wins Wammer Competition at GVSU

Northwest Ohio Throws Academy athlete Tyler Arbaugh won the Wammer competition at Grand Valley State University on Saturday, December 16th.

Arbaugh won the high school boys division of the meet. The Wammer is a shortened indoor hammer that weighs 25 pounds. Arbaugh’s best throw was a distance of 26.62 meters or 87 feet, 4 inches.

Arbaugh is a sophomore at Van Buren High School. Video of his entire Wammer throw series can be seen below:
